As some of you may know, on December 5th, I underwent a tonsillectomy surgery. Well, since then, I've had to go back to the ER twice, one resulting in emergency surgery after vomiting over 200ml of blood. These last two weeks have been the most painful and some of the most terrifying that I've ever experienced. Along with being in excruciating pain, I haven't been able to speak, or eat much of anything with sufficient nutrition. My hair has begun falling out in clumps, my muscles are weak, and I've dropped down to 106lbs.
I'm so hungry!
Anyone who knows me, knows I have a serious food obsession. I love indulging in good eats, and I thoroughly enjoy watching the Food Network, and all of the food documentaries on Netflix. Not being able to eat all of my favorite foods has been rough, to say the least. I'm currently sipping on a prune smoothie as I write this, and even though it's not half bad, it's not satisfying. I'm craving hearty, salty, warm, cozy, comfort foods!
So, I came up with an idea, something fun for me to look forward to once I'm able to actually eat solid food again! I'm going to eat my way through the Gallatin Valley, but I need your help! Here's how it works:
I'm going to list out all of the foods I'm craving to eat, and I want YOU to tell me the best restaurant to get it! And if you think there's something I have to try, that's not on the list, don't be afraid to make suggestions!
Of course, I'll also be bringing my camera along with me to document my food adventure!
Here's the list (Don't judge me):
Fried Chicken/Chicken + Waffles
Fish + Chips
Fried Mac n Cheese
(there's a theme here haha)
Breads-Any and all kinds!
Desserts-Again, I don't discriminate.
I think that's a good start, don't you?
Thank you again for the healing vibes! I can't wait to see what you all come up with, and even more so, I can't wait to eat!
