For years, Kait has been my hype girl. Even before I ever moved back to MA, she would tell me, "Whenever I get married, you will be my photographer." Fast forward to last weekend, and we made it all happen!
Walking into her suite was like walking into a high school reunion, but better. I got to reconnect with women who I haven't seen since our high school graduation day. Seeing Kait surrounded by her sisters and these amazing friendships made the energy in the room so vibrant.
Kait and Dom's day flowed so beautifully, and believe it or not, we were on time for literally every second of their day. That never happens! You could feel the sense of ease from both of them. They were just so ready to be married to each other, and celebrate with their favorite people.
I think one of my favorite moments of the entire day was Dom's first dance with his mom. They danced to "I Wanna Dance with Somebody" by Whitney Houston, and the energy that came over the room is the epitome of what weddings are all about. You know the end of a cute rom-com movie where someone gets married, everything is in slow motion, and you're pulled in by the joy, and in that moment all is right with the world? That's exactly how that moment made me feel, and I'd be willing the bet money that I wasn't the only one who felt that way.
Kait and Dom's day was pure bliss, and it wouldn't have been possible without the help from the dream team at The Boylston Rooms. Working alongside Myles, Walter, and Alyssa all day was an absolute honor. I also couldn't have gotten through the day without the help from videographer, Matt Geeze (who I also went to high school with)! It was just good vibes all around, all day, guys!
Kait and Dom, I hope your wedding day was everything you ever dreamed of and more. You two are one hundred percent made for one another, and it was such a wonderful full-circle moment to have been part of your perfect day. Thank you so much for having me, and I wish you both a lifetime of happiness together!
