I've been screaming about this wedding since Saturday! It was the most perfect fall New England wedding day, with the colors, and the breeze, and that autumn glow it just made the day even more magical!
I met Emily two years ago. She works in the apartment building my husband and I used to live in, and when I found out she was engaged, of course I was going to toss my hat in the ring to be their wedding photographer!
Over the last year, I've had a front row seat to their entire wedding planning process, and as stressful as I know it was at times, (Emily's dress wasn't ready until the week of their wedding - Ah!) I think it all came together beautifully!
Matt and Emily have been together for almost ten years! High school sweethearts tying the knot always tugs on my heartstrings.
Their first look photos are probably my most favorite so far, and they even took it a step further and did private vows together. I'm in love with this new wedding trend! It's so intimate and romantic.
The day was honestly just perfect. It was such a good crowd of guests - who partied until the very end. Even Emily's nana was on the dance floor for almost every single song! I also may or may not have danced my face off... ;)
Matt and Emily finished the night with a private dance to their high school song, and I think it's what brought it all full circle. From high school love birds to newlyweds!
Congratulations you two! I couldn't be happier for you and Favor!
